We hope you will visit us again in future and experience everything we have to offer. It is disappointing that you did not raise these issues with a staff member on the day of your visit as they would have been only too happy to explain what was happening with the tanks and give you a bit more background on our jellyfish display. Description: Want to decorate your fish tank These Artificial Jellyfishes will look beautiful floating around in the water Colorful and vibrant, they look. We aim to let all our customers have an interactive experience with a creature in our rockpool, although these creatures will vary from time to time. Once the installation is finished the tank will be re-stocked with jellyfish. It has proved a great talking point for our customers, many of whom did not realise the dangers plastic bags pose to marine wildlife. One of many items available from our Aquariums department here at. The plastic bag jellyfish are an installation highlighting how easy it is for turtles and other creatures to mistake plastic waste for a food source, leading to their eventual death. Despite the ongoing improvements, the majority of our tanks are available for viewing and our programme of talks/feeding displays and kids quiz trail are running as normal.

We have kept customers up to date with all changes via our social media pages. They are being completely rethemed and upgraded into brand new displays and we ask that customers are patient with us while we carry out these works. It is true that at present we have a few tanks under renovation. It's fantastic that you enjoyed your visit to our cafe and the amazing views we are lucky enough to have here. Hi, Firstly, it's great to read that you are regular visitors. At the very least ticket prices should be discounted until the tanks are fully up and running again. It has a beautiful large window with a view of the Loch, The Trossachs and Ben Lomond. No sign of the crabs, which is my sons favourite part! We had hotdogs in the cafe, service was great, prices were decent and it was clean. There were no jellyfish, instead, in the jellyfish tank there were (I kid you not - picture added) plastic bags which had been made in to jellyfish, although this is very arty and creative, I did not pay to see empty tanks and plastic bag jellyfish! Even the rock pools were pretty bare with only one star fish and some sea anemones. Visitors should be told on the website and the pay in desk so that they can decide if they want to proceed with the visit.

Whilst I appreciate the tanks have to cleaned/changed/repaired/upgraded. Today we booked our tickets online, on arrival most of the tanks on the bottom level were empty as they were being upgraded or something similar. This is literally my five year olds favourite place to go and we are fairly regular visitors. Visited here with my husband, five year old boy and 6 month old twins.
